 Job Description
  Kerman is seeking an experienced Finance Director to manage the City’s financial operations, including: operating and capital budget preparation, financial planning, accounting operations, financial reporting, risk management, utilities, and information technology. The ideal candidate must possess experience in public finance administration and management, governmental accounting, bond issues and other financing methods, and reporting/disclosure requirements of governmental entities. Minimum Qualifications: any combination of experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities. Education: equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, public administration or closely related field; Experience: seven years of responsible accounting experience including three years of management and supervisory experience; License/Certificate: possession of a CPA is desirable.
