 Job Description
  The City of Angels is seeking a Finance Officer. Under the general supervision of the Director of Administrative Services, the Finance Officer is responsible for managing and directing the accounting activities of the Finance Department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, property and cost accounting, and revenues and receipts; performs highly complex professional accounting work. This position includes establishing and directing citywide financial related programs, assuring compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies; includes preparing the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), implementing all new Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), reporting requirements each year as well as managing debt service and investments. This position also is responsible for preparation of the City’s annual budget. Candidate should have any combination of training, education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Adminsitration or a closely related field,

Salary is $74,885 - $97,906 and offers an attractive benefits package. The position is open until filled.
