Learn how to better navigate the complex world of government revenues from two of the leading experts in the field! The FUNdamental revenue course provides participants with a thorough review of the mechanics of fees, rates, charges, and land-based financing. 


Offered only once each year, this class addresses each revenue source in context within the overall municipal revenue picture, discusses various policy objectives, and provides an overview and discussion of each revenue source.  The course will cover Regulatory Fees and User Fees, General Governmental Fees, Development Impact Fees, as well as Enhanced Infrastructure Financing Districts / EIFDs, and Community Revitalization and Investment Authorities / CRIAs.
The class is designed to be interactive and engaging, with exercises that help participants’ to better understand the complexities of these revenue tools. A light breakfast and lunch will be included with the session, as well as a copy of the League of California Cities Revenue Handbook.
